Corporate ERP: accounts, sales, purchasing and stock
One system for the general ledger, invoices, purchasing, stock and reporting, built around how the business works and still growing with it.

The challenge
A growing trading business ran its accounts, sales, purchasing and stock in separate places. Every report meant pulling figures together by hand, and nobody could see the whole picture at once.
Off-the-shelf ERPs either missed how the business actually works, with customers and sub-customers, multiple locations, transporters and its own way of tagging accounts, or forced it to change its processes.
What we built
Accounting at the core
Chart of accounts, journal vouchers with posting and unposting, GL profiles and tagging, cash and bank accounts, and controlled back-dating.
Sales
Customers and sub-customers with contacts and addresses, sale invoices and returns with discounts, carriage and freight, and cash received.
Purchasing
Vendors, purchase invoices and returns, posted straight into the ledger.
Inventory and stock movement
Inventory items with pictures and barcodes, material receipt and issue notes, fixed asset issues and work orders, across regions, areas and locations.
Financial reports
Trial balance, general journal, account, customer and vendor ledgers, income statement, balance sheet and cash and bank position, exportable to PDF and Excel.
Users and permissions
Roles with menu-level permissions, plus access limited by location, cash and bank account and inventory group.
How it works
- Set up the businessAccounts, locations, customers, vendors and items are defined once, with the company's own settings.
- Record the day's workStaff raise invoices, returns, receipts, issues and vouchers in the parts of the system they have access to.
- Post to the ledgerDocuments post to the general ledger, and can be unposted for correction under control.
- ReportManagement pulls the trial balance, statements and ledgers at any time, as PDF or Excel.
